Can a Girl Get a Break Inc. Established April 2014.

 

 

 

It all started in a duplex apartment in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2012. I had this insane idea to write a book about the struggles of being a teenage girl and transitioning into adulthood. I decided to make it a 4 book series (which I am still working on) releasing a book every 2 years to allow readers the opportunity to grow with the characters of Can a Girl Get a Break. As the book started to become a reality a bigger vision came into play. I thought to myself maybe this could be more of a movement versus just a book; so I started thinking about all the ways women relax and take breaks and I got excited because I'm like I can create a brand that speaks on behalf of women everywhere and that's how Can a Girl Get a Break came to be. My goal is to create a company that stands for something more than just putting out a product. When people talk about Can a Girl Get a Break Inc I want them to talk about the positive, uplifting and encouraging atmosphere that they feel when visiting our website or attending our events. I stay true to myself by continuously giving back to our community because I came from NOTHING so I know how terrible it is to go to bed not knowing where your next meal is coming from; so I make sure to always find ways to give back. The many things coming to Can a Girl Get a Break Inc in the future will be to make sure we cater to the needs of women who just need a break. We are coming out with Scented Candles, Custom Designed Candles, Bubble Bath, T-shirts and so much more!
